Thanks to those who donated to Lutheran World Relief

Thank you for your generosity to LWR’s year end appeal. Holy Cross raised $1950 with our church matching an attritional $500. These funds are being matched by other generous donors to LWR making our impact $4900. We pray that these donations may witness Christ by improving the lives of God’s children around the world.

So many families around the world are suffering. Effects of the war in Ukraine threaten to push many people over the brink. We’re on the cusp of a hunger crisis of unprecedented scope. So many children are going to bed hungry and waking up with nothing to eat. Many children in remote regions won’t even survive to the age of 5.
