Holy Cross and Calvary Thrivent Service Activity “Love in Action”

All women from Calvary and Holy Cross and their friends are invited to join us on Saturday, May 20th from 10am to 12:30pm for food, fellowship and the Period Poverty Hygiene Kits Service Project.  In many parts of the world, women and girls lack access to necessary feminine care supplies.  This can create challenges that lead to unsafe and unsanitary conditions.  

Items listed below will be collected from April 16th to May 14th in the Narthex:
2 oz bottles hand sanitizer,
travel packs of wet wipes,
unscented tampons (regular and super absorbency)
unscented sanitary napkins (long super ultra-thin),
bath size bar of soap in original package (3oz or larger.  No Ivory or Jergen’s),
flushable wipes (unscented, 42 count)
and laundry detergent sheets (can be bought on Amazon).

We will use these items to assemble the hygiene kits on May 20th.  

Please RSVP to the Holy Cross office by May 13th.  

Thrivent Action Team Grant will be paying for the refreshments and some of the supplies.
