Sunday In Person Worship Temporarily Postponed

No matter how you classify yourself, or the world classifies you, we invite you to find God by worshiping with us!

In person worship will be postponed until public health conditions improve in our area

You can find our services streamed live every Sunday on our Facebook page

You can also join us even if you do not have a Facebook account.  Click on the link below.  As you begin to scroll on our Holy Cross page, it will prompt you either to “log in” or to “create new account.”  But if you look closely, there will also be a “Not Now” option in small letters.  Click on “Not Now,” and you should be able to view our posts, including the live worship video.  You might also have a friend or relative who can give you access through their Facebook page if that’s easier.

Check the church update feed each week for YouTube links for the Sermon

Holy Cross loves to worship God through music. Our services begin and end with vibrant spirit filled songs led by our Music Minister Jon Torgrimsen and our music team. The music selection ranges across a spectrum of modern and contemporary songs of worship to hymns that are centuries old.

Word and Sacrament are the core of centrist Christian worship.   Holy Cross has a high commitment to preaching centered in the Biblical witness.   The Bible is the source and norm of our faith, and a compass to guide our lives in an ever changing world.  Pastor Knecht seeks to bring the Bible to light for today’s challenges that the people of our community face.   More importantly by having an encounter with God through the Spirit people can be transformed to live lives of purpose and grace.

Christ came and gave his blood freely on behalf of all humanity, who are we to deny those who would want to come and find God through his Supper.  We commune children at 9 years old or older.  All are welcome to come forward for communion or a blessing no matter how classified by our world.

Christian Education

Our Children’s Minister Gail Werner leads the children 3 years  through grade 6 in a short prayer during our children’s time just before our Sermon in our 10 AM service.  Then they attend a Bible based lesson led by our experienced Sunday School team.  Most Sundays they return at the end of the service for communion or a prayer of blessing.

Each Sunday we stay after worship and share stories and life happenings over light refreshments.  It is a chance to experience the warmth and support of a community journeying to find God together in a relaxed atmosphere.  Please stay after service for a few minutes, we would love to get to know you and your story.
