Join us for a presentation by Amy Beth Jones of Family Promise based in Summit NJ as she introduces the good work they do in New Jersey to help those who struggle to find a home they can afford. Family Promise-Union County (FPUC) is one of more than 200 Affiliates nationwide serving children and their families. FPUC is overseen by the national Family Promise office. The need for shelter and comprehensive support services in Union County remains great. New Study! The Ten Commandments: A Better Way of Life!

Wednesdays beginning June 21st 7-8PM Why rely on self-help to improve things when God is offering a better way of life?  The Ten Commandments are more than list of things not to do; they contain a way for us to organize our lives in a healthy way.   They also reveal to us where we need God's help to change.   Join us as we examine how Martin Luther's interpretation of the commands reveal a path toward living in God's grace that can not only help us with our own lives, but be a blessing to others.  We would love to see you!

World Vision Thanks Holy Cross for Its Support Helping Refugees

Thank you to the congregation of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for your warm welcome on Sunday, May 28th.  I always look forward to my visits to Holy Cross because my family has so many great memories from the years when our children attended the nursery school.  Jon, Arlene, Heidi and Hayley were extremely helpful to me before and during the worship service.  I was also touched by the outpouring of compassion from all those who I spoke to after the service and was thrilled at the number of people who chose to become “Refugee Responders”.   If anyone missed their chance to “join the conversation”, please know you can make an ongoing ...

Holy Cross to Deliver Food to Seniors Sunday May 7

On Sunday May 07 Holy Cross  will delivering food packages to seniors in  Springfield after church, at 11:30 AM.   We invite you to come along and meet your neighbors. Anyone wishing to contribute food or shoprite gift cards for people in Springfield  can do so by dropping off food at the church 9AM-1PM Tuesday-Friday. Download a printable list to take with you on your next shopping trip! Please call to arrange a drop off time so that someone is there to receive them outside of normal hours. If you can can help for a few minutes, it would be much appreciated! Thank you!
